SUMMER LEAGUE CYCLE 3 the last week
July 19 Vets v u18 Martyn is doing a great job managing the Vets. Ollie captained the u18s to a 2-2 draw with Uppingham School yesterday (we have a video of this high-standard match for analysis including LHC hitting the bar in the last minutes – a great advertisement for the Club structure). Tom Court is organising the side for next week.
July 21 Club v u16 The Club team will be Post-Holders and Coaches who should book in with me. Similarly, the u16s should let me know if they are attending or not.
BREAK UNTIL CJHF2011 SUNDAY AUG 13
This is a social opener to the season for players eligible to play league hockey (13 plus) with some guest teams. Proceeds go to charity – £5 per player.
One fun pitch for 7-a-side (no serious hockey allowed on this pitch) and 1 pitch for 11-a-side. When i get back from holiday i will get in touch to finalise a tournament schedule with all of you (at this stage arrive about 10, hockey starts about 11, bring your own drinks and enough cash for a donation and your burger). Book in with me by replying to this email and i will allocate you to a team.
SUNDAYS RESTART AUG 14 10-12
It helps me if you reply to this email to let me know if you are attending. All LGS and LHC primary and secondary players are encouraged to attend on Sundays. Once again thankyou to all the coaches, in particular for your help free of charge, we should feel very pleased with this season’s development.
LHC TUESDAY TRAINING BEGINS AUG 16 ON THE WATER AT 7.15-8.45

LGS THURSDAY LEAGUES CYCLE 1 BEGINS SEPT 8
This is a new initiative, bear with me, to provide fixtures for the approximately 100 junior members.
4 u14 teams will play league fixtures approximately 5.30-6.45 (LGS u14s, LGS u13s, LHC u14s, South L). LHC boys who wish to participate should register with me by replying to this email.
4 teams will play league fixtures approximately 7-8.30 (Vets-Martyn, u16s-NM, u18s-Jonathan Bateman and 1 guest team).
Additional training will be available for LHC and LGS secondary boys Aug 18 and 25, 6-8. For LGS secondary boys only term-time Weds 4-5 from Sept 7.
